At River Mist Ranch we specialize in huacaya alpacas. It is our goal to provide excellent foundation females, and high quality fiber animals at affordable prices. Our mission is to forward the generation-to-generation improvement of the alpaca breed as fleece producing animals. To accomplish this, we have bred our females to Studmaster males which are recognized nationwide for their superior characteristics and quality. As our herd grows, we are expanding our search for the very best qualified herdsires, and as we succeed, our herd will represent many of the best bloodlines in the world.

Additional Services Provided: 

• As well as breeding stock, we offer fiber and pet quality alpacas.

• For the small or new alpaca breeder who may not yet have a web presence, we offer the service of posting your sale animals on our web site for a small service fee. This will allow you to advertise your animals, but not spend your time maintaining a web site.

• We offer agisting services (boarding) for alpaca owners who may not have space to keep alpacas on their own property. Alpacas are a wonderful investment, and city residents need not miss out on the opportunity to take advantage of this.

• Sale of alpaca fleece and yarn is also available.

We are located on 16 acres in the lovely Rogue Valley of southern Oregon. We welcome all inquires and would be happy to arrange a farm visit for you to see these enchanting creatures for yourself. However beware; once you are with these fascinating animals it is difficult to resist their charms! Grants Pass is a beautiful place to visit with nice hotels, B&B establishments and quaint antique shops, not to mention the wild and scenic Rogue River. Make arrangements to visit today.
